About Us
For the love of animals
We are a family from Lempäälä — parents and two daughters — whose lives have always, in one way or another, included animals. In Finland, we’ve served as a foster home for cats, and while living abroad, we’ve been involved in helping local street cats and dogs.
Both of our daughters have grown up surrounded by animals. Our animal-loving 14-year-old has experience with various types of pets and is also a passionate horseback rider. Our 10-year-old, on the other hand, is an incredibly empathetic and patient “cat whisperer” who has a special ability to bond with even the shyest kitties. Last year, she donated all her birthday money to help homeless dogs.
We currently don’t have pets of our own due to our long travels abroad, which is why fostering has been such a meaningful and enriching experience for us. However, foster care requires long-term commitment, which our current lifestyle no longer allows. That’s how CatBnB came to life — as a natural continuation of our foster work.
Animals have always had a special place in our hearts, which is why providing a safe and loving care home feels like a true calling for us. While our service is based on the pet hotel concept, CatBnB is far from a traditional boarding facility. As the name suggests, CatBnB is simply a regular family’s regular home — one you can rent for your own pets. You could think of our service as a cozy, around-the-clock family-style daycare for cats.

Main spaces
Our main spaces consist of a spacious living room, hallway, kitchen, and sauna facilities. The main area offers plenty of room for cats from two different households that are suitable for shared accommodation, but it can also be rented for private use.
We aim to provide accommodation whenever possible, even if the main spaces are already booked, so that as many cat friends as possible can enjoy their vacation with us. If our main spaces are already reserved, you can check out our room accommodation options below. Our home's spaces are rented on a first-come, first-served basis.
Private room
We have two rooms that can be reserved as private cat studios when our main spaces are already booked. We primarily reserve Room No. 1 (space 7 m²). During holiday peaks, Room No. 2 can also be made available for private use by cat guests (10 m² of space). Each room features a large window, a scratching tree, cozy cat beds, and other enrichment activities. We've also ordered custom-made cat climbing walls from a Finnish manufacturer to increase the vertical space; the climbing walls will be installed in early summer.
Even in the cat studios, your cat won’t be alone — we are happy to work remotely from the room if our furry coworkers approve! There's playtime and company available throughout the day, but also the option for complete peace and quiet for those who prefer it.
The main spaces and Room No. 1 are listed in our service price list. Room No. 2 is available for reservation during peak holiday periods and is therefore not listed directly. Below are some pictures of the rooms.
